ROOF COOLING METHOD AND SYSTEM FOR COOLING A ROOF BY A COLD WATER LAYER ON THE SURFACE OF THE ROOF

PURPOSE: A roof cooling method and system are provided to maximize the cooling efficiency of a roof since a continuously flowing cold-water layer is formed on the surface of the roof.;CONSTITUTION: Two water tanks(1,10a) are laid under the ground. One of the two water tanks is empty. The other tank, in which the water has been filled, is naturally cooled to be below the temperature of the ground surface. The naturally cooled water is drawn to the top of the roof and flows on the surface of the roof to form a cold water layer. The cold water layer slowly flows by an absorbing unit. The water, which is heated while flowing down from the surface of the roof, is collected into the empty tank and is naturally cooled to be below the temperature of the ground surface.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2011
