PURPOSE: A driver airbag device for a vehicle is provided to minimize injuries to a driver's neck, since the top of an airbag cover is completely separated from the airbag cover.;CONSTITUTION: A driver airbag device for a vehicle comprises a housing(10), an air bag cushion(20), an airbag cover(40), and an inflator(30). The housing is embedded in a steering wheel. The air bag cushion is installed in the housing. The inflator connects to the air bag cushion to supply gas. The airbag cover is coupled with the housing to shield the air bag cushion. The top(40a) of the air bag cushion is completely separated and opened through a rupture line(44).;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2011
