PURPOSE: An impact signal processing apparatus for a head-on collision acceleration sensor is provided to obtain reliable head-on collision acceleration sensing data by compensating the influence of noise or disturbance.;CONSTITUTION: An impact signal processing apparatus(100) for a head-on collision acceleration sensor comprises first and second velocity signal detection units(110,140), a phase lead unit(120), a low-pass filter(130), and a head-on collision velocity estimation unit(150). The first and second velocity signal detection units detect the first and second velocity signals of a vehicle using acceleration sensing data from an Airbag Control Unit sensor(2) and a Front Impact Sensor(1). The phase lead unit generates upper and lower boundary values changed correspondently to the first velocity signal which a phase led. The head-on collision velocity estimation unit estimates head-on collision velocity by processing the second velocity signal using the upper and lower boundary values.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2011
