PURPOSE: A device for starting a vehicle using a smart key is provided to increase user convenience since the power-state change and starting of a vehicle can be separately controlled.;CONSTITUTION: A device for starting a vehicle using a smart key comprises a button(11a), an operating unit(11), and a control unit(15). A return type of jog wheel(11b) is formed on the outer circumferential surface of the button. The control unit starts or stops the vehicle according to the operation of the button. The control unit controls to change the power state of the vehicle according to the operation of the jog wheel. The control unit has a given angle of displacement. The control unit recognizes the position of the jog wheel, which is controlled to a predetermined specific power state of the vehicle.
