PURPOSE: An apparatus for brushing an ingot block automatically and a method for brushing an ingot block automatically using it are provided to prevent damage to the surface of an ingot block in chipping by maintaining the cutting depth of a brush rubbing with a processed side.;CONSTITUTION: In an apparatus for brushing an ingot block automatically and a method for brushing an ingot block automatically using it, a supporting unit(200) rotates an ingot block(20). A brushing unit(300) includes a plurality of brushes and processes the processed side of the ingot block. A driving unit(400) moves the brushing unit in horizontal. A control unit controls driving of the apparatus for brushing the ingot block. A truing unit evenly trims up the end of a plurality of brush which are worn away through brushing.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2011
