PURPOSE: A minute flow rate meter and operating method thereof are provided to accurately measure a minute flow rate by calculating a flow rate value using the drive current of a compressor, accomplishing linear relation with the flow rate value.;CONSTITUTION: A minute flow rate meter comprises a register(20), a compressor(40), a differential manometer(30), and a controller(50). The register connects with main pipe path(10) in which the fluid flows. The compressor is installed in the backend of the register. The differential manometer measures the pressure difference of the compressor backend and the register front end. The controller drives the compressor based on the pressure difference inputted from the differential manometer.
