PURPOSE: An ocean current power generating device is provided to ensure simple structure and facilitated construction by employing a rotating unit which bidirectionally rotates according to ocean current. CONSTITUTION: An ocean current power generating device comprises a rotating unit(100), a cover unit, a converting unit, a generating unit, and a fixing unit. The rotating unit comprises a plurality of blades. The cover unit accommodates the rotating unit by supporting both ends of the rotary shaft of the rotating unit. The converting unit is installed between the rotating unit and the cover unit and selectively fixes the blades of the rotating unit. The generating unit is provided on the exterior of the cover unit and generates electricity through an extended shaft part formed on a side of the rotating unit. The fixing unit fixes the cover unit on the sea floor to be located in the water. The rotating unit can rotate in two directions according to ocean current because a part of the blades are kept folded by the converting unit.
