PURPOSE: A torque-split auto-transmission is provided to enable downsizing and the reduction of transfer capacity by decreasing the power and torque to be transferred to an oscillator and a transmission by transferring rotating power from engine to two paths.;CONSTITUTION: A torque-split auto-transmission comprises a first power transfer path(PT1), a second power transfer path(PT2), and a torque distributing unit. The fits power transfer path is drawn toward a driving wheel. An oscillator(4) and a transmission unit(6) are serially arranged on the second power transfer path to increase torque. The output of the second transfer path joins the output of the first power transfer path. The torque distributing unit consists of a set of single pinion planetary gears(2). For the torque distributing unit, one of three rotating elements operates as an input element, which receives the power from engine. The rotating power transferred to the first power transfer path is transferred more greatly than that transferred to the second power transfer path.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2011
