PURPOSE: A method for laying a lamp wire of a roll-on roll-off vessel using tension is provided to tensely pull a wire rope in a lamp wiring work to constantly wind the wire rope around a wire winch to thereby apply constant tensile force to the wire rope. CONSTITUTION: A method for laying a lamp wire of a roll-on roll-off vessel using tension is as follows. A lamp is loaded in a hull. Lead ropes(GR1,GR2) starting from a wire winch(10) are sequentially wound around a hull wheel(42) and a lamp wheel(44) of a pulley(40) in a shorted distance. The lead ropes are wound around tension drums(32a,32b) of a wire tension drum(30). The ends of the lead ropes are connected to wire ropes(WR1,WR2) wound around a rear drum stand(20) of the wire tension drum. When the wire winch winds the lead ropes in the opposite direction and pulls the lead ropes, the wire rope is tensely pulled by the wire tension drum.
