METHOD FOR DECIDING ADAPTIVE MODULATING AND CODING SCHEMES IN A MULTIPLE ANTENNA SYSTEM FOR OFFERING A CHANNEL QUALITY ESTIMATION METHOD BASED ON AN EESM(EXPONENTIAL EFFECTIVE SIR MAPPING) TECHNIQUE
PURPOSE: A method for deciding adaptive modulating and coding schemes in a multiple antenna system is provided to quickly draw a link performance estimation value according to a current channel state and feed back the index of a corresponding MCS level. ;CONSTITUTION: A channel estimator(320) estimates channel information. An equalizer(330) equalizes symbols. A parallel/serial converter(350) converts the parallel signal of a de-mapper(340) into a serial signal. A de-interleaver(360) performs de-interleaving for the serial signal. A controller(380) selects an MCS(Modulation and Coding Scheme) level in which the data transfer rate of a system can be maximized through the estimated channel quality of a channel quality estimator(390).;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2011
