PURPOSE: A multi-stage coal gasification apparatus is provided to accelerate the mixing of an oxidizer and coal because a reactant forms a vortex in a multi-stage coal gas burner. ;CONSTITUTION: A multi-stage coal gasification apparatus(100) comprises first and second coal gasifiers(10,20). The first and second coal gasifiers have first and second housings(11,21) and first and second reactant injection ports(12,22), respectively. The first and second housings have first and second bottom slag discharge ports(11a,21a) and first and second top gas discharge ports(11b,21b), respectively. The first and second reactant injection ports are formed in the circumferential direction of the first and second housings to inject reactants into the housings at the set angles.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2011
