PURPOSE: An electrophoresis display device and manufacturing method thereof are provided to increase a light absorbing amount from the light sensing sensor. ;CONSTITUTION: An electrophoresis includes a first substrate(100), a second substrate(300), a gate line, a data line, switching transistor(T1), a light sensing unit, a color filtering layer, and an electrophoresis film(200). The second substrate faces the first substrate. The gate line and the data line define a unit pixel by being crossed to each other on the first substrate. The switching transistor is electrically connected to the gate line and the data line. The light senor unit is formed on the first substrate. The color filter layer includes a color filter area and a white area which are formed on the second substrate. The electrophoresis includes pigment particles.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2011
