BRAKE BOOSTER FOR A VEHICLE, CAPABLE OF REMOVING THE OVERLAPPED AREA BETWEEN A DIAPHRAGM AND A DIAPHRAGM PLATE

PURPOSE: A brake booster for a vehicle is provided to reduce cost and weight by removing the overlapped area between a diaphragm and a diaphragm plate and minimize the loss of boosting force by reducing the deformation of the diaphragm when the boosting force is applied. ;CONSTITUTION: A brake booster for a vehicle comprises a diaphragm plate(1) and a diaphragm(5). The diaphragm plate has a disc shape. The inner diameter part of the diaphragm is connected to the outer diameter part of the diaphragm plate. The outer diameter part of the diaphragm is fixed to a case(3). A coupling groove(7) is formed on the outer diameter part of the diaphragm plate. The coupling groove is coked by inserting of the inner diameter part of the diaphragm. The case consists of a front shell(9) and a rear shell(11). The case fixes the outer diameter part of the diaphragm between the front shell and the rear shell.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2011
