DESIGN METHOD OF COOLING CHANNEL USING HOT STAMPING METALLIC PATTERN

PURPOSE: A cooling channel design method of a hot stamping mold is provided to draw the optimal cooling channel of a mold in a product design stage. CONSTITUTION: A cooling channel design apparatus selects a hot stamping mold according to each section. The apparatus extracts each cross section(S10). The apparatus inputs the design variable of a cooling channel(S20). The apparatus interprets a cooling effect depending on the design variable according to the each section(S30). The apparatus calculates an optimal design variable value according to the each section(S40). The apparatus designs a 3D cooling channel with the combination of the calculated optimal design variable value(S50).
