ERROR PROBABILITY ANALYSIS DEVICE AND METHOD OF A COMMUNICATION SYSTEM, CAPABLE OF CALCULATING A BIVARIATE GAUSSIAN Q FUNCTION BASED ON A UNIVARIATE GAUSSIAN Q FUNCTION
PURPOSE: An error probability analysis device and a method of a communication system using a Gaussian Q function are provided to analyze the error probability of the communication system with a low performance calculator by calculating a bivariate Gaussian Q function based on a univariate Gaussian Q function. ;CONSTITUTION: A receiver(120) receives encoded communication information from other communication system. A decoder(130) decodes the communication information and restores information which other user transmits. A bivariate Gaussian Q function analyzer(140) analyzes the restored information with the Gaussian Q function and calculates the error probability. The error probability is the probability which the restored information is different from the information which other user transmits. The bivariate Gaussian Q function analyzer calculates the bivariate Gaussian Q function by using a univariate Gaussian Q function.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2011
