PURPOSE: A muscle transition system and method of a character model are provided to transit the muscle information of an existing character model and accelerate a character creation work. ;CONSTITUTION: On the basis of the skeleton information and surface geometry information of a reference model, a muscle transition system creates the feature of the reference model(S610). The system makes the muscle information of the reference model subordinate to the feature of the reference model(S630). The system creates the feature of a target model(S650).
