PURPOSE: A composition using tomato plant extract and Lithospermum erythrorhizon extract is provided to detoxify smoking toxicity. CONSTITUTION: A composition for detoxifying smoking toxicity contains Lithospermum erythrorhizon extract as an active ingredient. The Lithospermum erythrorhizon extract is prepared by dipping leaves, stems, roots, or mixture of Lithospermum erythrorhizon in 50% ethanol, isolating at 50C for 10 hours, and decompression-concentrating. The composition is a food or pharmaceutical composition. The food composition is gum, beverage, and jelly. The pharmaceutical composition is oral formulation, parenteral formulation, and topical formulation.
