SEAWATER-REPLACEABLE SHIP FOR ENABLING THE LEVEL OF SEAWATER IN A BALLAST TANK TO BE CONTROLLED BY AIR PRESSURE

PURPOSE: A seawater-replaceable ship is provided to enable the circulation of seawater by supplying air to a ballast tank even during sailing of a ship. ;CONSTITUTION: A seawater-replaceable ship comprises an opening/closing hole(100) and an air supply unit(200). The opening/closing hole is formed on one side of a ballast tank(20) so that seawater(30) can flow into/out of the hole. The air supply unit supplies air to the ballast tank to press seawater. While the surface of the seawater in the ballast tank is kept constant by the air supply unit, the replacement of the seawater is done. The ballast tank is divided by a barrier having a plurality of valves. Seawater can flow into the divided space depending on the opening/closing of the valve.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2011
