PURPOSE: A method for preparing a catalyst for the polymerization of polyolefin is provided to obtain a catalyst for the polymerization of a binary magnesium compound-supported polyolefin with high activity. ;CONSTITUTION: A method for preparing a catalyst for the polymerization of polyolefin comprises the steps of: (i) dissolving magnesium halides in alcohol(a) and hydrocarbon(b), and adding an alkoxysilane compound to prepare a magnesium halide precursor solution; (ii) reacting metal magnesium with alcohol(c) in the presence of a halogen compound to prepare a dialkoxy magnesium carrier; and (iii) reacting the magnesium halide precursor solution and the dialkoxymagnesium carrier with titanium tetrachloride and an inner electron donor in the presence of hydrocarbon(d).;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2011
