PURPOSE: An apparatus for measuring the interval between edge rolls and the abrasion of the edge rolls is provided to inform a user of the replacement time of edge rolls by sensing the abrasion of the edge rolls. ;CONSTITUTION: An apparatus for measuring the interval between edge rolls and the abrasion of the edge rolls comprises a body, a transfer bed(102), left and right distance sensor(103,104), and a data collector(105). The body is fixed to edge table rolls. The transfer bed is located on the body and is transferred in the longitudinal direction of the body. The left distance sensor senses a distance from the transfer bed and the surface of a left edge roll. The right distance sensor senses a distance from the transfer bed to the surface of a right edge roll. The data collector calculates an interval between the edge rolls.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2011
