PURPOSE: A method for processing acidic wastewater containing heavy metal ions is provided to reduce the amount of a counteractive agent using steel manufacturing slag and carbon dioxide containing exhaust gas. ;CONSTITUTION: Acidic wastewater containing heavy metal ions passes through a column filled with steel manufacturing slag in order to absorb the heavy metal ions. The pH of the wastewater is controlled. The heavy metal ions are remained in the wastewater by introducing a counteractive agent. The remained heavy metal ions are precipitated and eliminated using hydroxide. The pH of the wastewater is controlled using carbon dioxide containing exhaust gas.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2011
