METHOD FOR CULTURING HUMAN EMBRYONIC STEM CELLS USING HUMAN PLACENTA-DERIVED FEEDER CELLS

PURPOSE: A method for culturing human embryonic stem cells using human placenta-derived feeder cells is provided to prevent interference of stem cell marker expression. ;CONSTITUTION: A method for culturing human embryonic stem cells comprises: a step of preparing human placenta-derived feeder cells(HPC); a step of transferring the human embryonic stem cells on a feeder cell; and a step of culturing the stem cells without fibroblast growth factor(FGF). The HPC is human placenta-derived fibroblast-like cells. The HPC is derived from chorionic plates. The FGF is a basic FGF(bFGF). A culture medium contains serum replacement(SR), mercaptoethanol, non-essential amino acid, and antibiotics.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2011
