PURPOSE: A device for automatically collecting the workpiece of a lathe is provided to enhance the processing performance of a workpiece since a collet automatically bites and clamps the workpiece by a worker's simple operation. ;CONSTITUTION: A device for automatically collecting the workpiece of a lathe consists of a driving source, an operating unit, a link unit and an elastic support unit(140). The driving source is installed on the outer surface of a column and generates power. The operating unit receives the power from the driving source and moves back and forth the hollow pipe(43) of a spindle unit.
