PURPOSE: A method and an apparatus for processing Freon gas are provided to decompose Freon gas using ultraviolet ray having powerful short wavelength. CONSTITUTION: An apparatus for processing Freon gas comprises: a chamber(10) having a space; a reactor(20) which is installed inside the chamber and in which Freon gas stays for a predetermined time; a non electrode type ultra-violet ray lamp which is installed inside the chamber and emits ultraviolet light to the reactor; and a magnetron(90) emitting microwave to the inside of the chamber.
