PURPOSE: A method and an apparatus for processing volatile organic compound are provided to improve the decomposition efficiency of a volatile organic compound. CONSTITUTION: An apparatus for processing volatile organic compound comprises: a chamber(10) having a space; a reactor(20) which is installed inside the chamber and decomposes a volatile organic compound; a magnetron(90) emitting microwave to the inside of the chamber; a non electrode type ultra-violet ray lamp which is installed in the reactor and emits ultraviolet light by microwave; and a support unit which supports an ultra-violet ray lamp so that the ultra-violet ray lamp can be arranged at an interval from the inner circumference of the reactor.
