PURPOSE: An apparatus for measuring the linearity and flatness of a rail is provided to improve the accuracy of measurement by employing optical detection.;CONSTITUTION: An apparatus for measuring the linearity and flatness of a rail comprises a light emitting part, a light receiving part(140), and a controller. The lighting emitting part is installed on the base of a rail(100) and emits light in the longitudinal direction of the rail. The light receiving part is provided on a moving body transferred along the rail and receives the light emitted from the light emitting part.
