PURPOSE: A swaying control method and a ship using the same are provided to efficiently and actively reduce the swaying of a ship by controlling the fluid accepted to the tank according to the load state of a ship and the marine condition where the ship driving.;CONSTITUTION: A swaying control method comprises a hull(10), a tank(20), a pump(30) and a controller(40). The tank is arranged in the hull and accepts the fluid. The pump flows in and out fluid about the tank. The controller controls the amount of fluid accepted to the tank according to the cycle of the waves and the load states of a ship. The controller controls the pump in order to minimize the swaying. The fluid accepted to the tank comprises the seawater. The cross-section of a tank is an octagon-shaped.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2012
