PURPOSE: A scratch surface damage quantifying method of coated materials and polymer is provided to reduce the number of errors due to a measurer and measuring environment by evaluating surface damage, due to a scratch, as a quantified value.;CONSTITUTION: A scratch surface damage quantifying method of coated materials and polymer comprises the following steps. Scratch damage is created in the surface of a test piece. The scratch damage which is generated in the surface of the test piece is shown in the corresponding to a color coordinate. The quantified scratch damage index is produced by mixing a color coordinate corresponding to the scratch damage and actuated load in the surface of the test piece. The color coordinate scans the scratch damage site which is generated in the surface of the test piece and obtains the image. The color coordinate displays the color of image in a two-dimensional or three-dimensional color model by using color analysis software.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2012
