The invention relates to surface finishes for composite molding of polymeric materials and their application in solar systems. These solar systems can be solar reflectors for concentrating solar radiation, flexible photovoltaic composite films or CPV lenses (concentrated photovoltaics lenses) for concentrating solar radiation. The surface refinement is a self-healing coating based on crosslinkable fluoropolymers, eg. B. PFEVE (polyfluoroethylene alkyl vinyl ether). These coatings have good optical properties, can be used in outdoor applications, especially in solar applications, for very long periods of time, show self-cleaning properties, and most importantly, the coating is self-healing in terms of mechanical damage such as scratching.
