The present invention relates to surface treatment for composite molded bodies from polymeric materials and their use in solar devices. The solar device can be a solar reflector for concentrating solar radiation, a flexible photovoltaic composite film, or a CPV (Concentrated Photovoltaic) lens for concentrating solar radiation. Surface treatment is a self-healing coating based on a crosslinkable fluoropolymer, for example PFEVE (polyfluoroethylene alkyl vinyl ether). This coating exhibits good optical properties, can be used for a very long time, especially in solar applications, when used outdoors, exhibits self-cleaning properties, and in particular this coating is self-cleaning with respect to mechanical damage such as scratches.
