PURPOSE: A black box for a vehicle is provided to easily determine the reason of an accident through a recorded image by accurately recording the calculated instantaneous velocity and status information of a vehicle.;CONSTITUTION: A black box(100) for a vehicle comprises a communicating port(140) and a controller(150). The communications port receives the information from a vehicle. The controller calculates the instantaneous velocity of a vehicle through a received speed pulse of a vehicle. The controller transfers the information in order to record the status information and instantaneous velocity of a vehicle.
