摘要

PURPOSE: An antibacterial composition containing essential oil ingredients isolated from Chrysanthemum morifolium flower is provided to prevent food poisoning with strong antibacterial activity. CONSTITUTION: An antibacterial composition contains essential oil as an active ingredient, isolated from Chrysanthemum morifolium flower. Extract of Chrysanthemum morifolium Flower is prepared by steam distillation method using distilled water, alcohol of 1-5 carbon atoms, or dimethyl sulphoxide(DMSO). The essential oil contains camphor, chrysanthemyl alcohol, alpha-pinen, gamma-termpinene, alpha+beta-thujone. Bacteria causing food poisoning is Bacillus Cereus, Aeromonas hydrophila, Salmonella enterica, Shigella sonnei, Vibrio parahaemolyticus, Vibrio vulnificus, Bacillus subtilis, or Staphylococcus aureus.
