A field study was carried out at CCS Haryana Agricultural University, Hisar, India for two years 1999-2000 and 2000-2001 with an objective to find out the optimum requirement of N, P and K for successful cultivation of chrysanthemum flowers in North-India. The experiments were laid out in randomized block design with twelve treatment combinations involving four levels of nitrogen (0, 10, 20 and 30 g m~-) and three levels of phosphorus (0, 10 and 20 gm~(-2)) along with 20 g m~(-2) of potassium as a basal dose. Nitrogen, phosphorus and potassium @ 20 g m~(-2) significantly improved the vegetative attributes and flower yield of chrysanthemum during both the years.
