PURPOSE: A method for manufacturing biodegradable nanofibers having a controlled drug release system by fluorination is provided to control the output rate of a drug contained within the nanofiber by introducing a hydrophobic functional group on the surface of the nanofibers, formed through an electrospinning and a radiation process. CONSTITUTION: A method for manufacturing biodegradable nanofibers having a controlled drug release system by fluorination comprises the following steps: mixing a polymer precursor, a water soluble drug, and a solvent together; obtaining the nanofibers by electrospinning the mixture; cross-linking the nanofibers through a radiation process; and modifying the surface of the cross-linked nanofibers. The polymer precursor is a biodegradable polymer.
