A remote control apparatus for providing an individualized service through natural image-based user interfaces, a remote control system having the same, a method thereof and a recording medium in which a program for realizing the method are provided to offer the individualized service through the general-purpose remote control by performing the mapping in case the natural image-based user interface is new.
