Magnetic nanofiber, magnetic carbon nanofiber, and method for producing them

PURPOSE: A method for producing magnetic nanofibers and magnetic carbon nanofibers is provided to enable magnetic nanoparticles to be uniformly distributed on the surfaces of fibers. CONSTITUTION: A method for producing magnetic carbon nanofibers comprises the following steps of: preparing a spinning solution containing fiber-forming polymer, nanoparticles or magnetic precursors, and a solvent; electrically spinning the spinning solution to obtain magnetic nanofibers; oxidation-stabilizing the magnetic nanofibers in a magnetic-treatment furnace of air atmosphere in order to obtain non-fusible magnetic nanofibers; and carbonizing the non-fusible magnetic nanofibers in a heat-treatment furnace of inert atmosphere or vacuum atmosphere. In the oxidation-stabilizing and carbonizing steps, the current is applied to each furnace.
