PURPOSE: A human error mode and PSD generating apparatus according to a soft controller type of a main control room in a nuclear power plant is provided to automatically classify human error modes according to a soft controller type. CONSTITUTION: An input unit(110) inputs information about the design characteristic of a soft controller. A first database(120) stores information about a human error mode according to the design characteristic. A human error mode searcher(130) searches for a human error mode from the first database. A PSF(Performance Shaping Factor) searching unit(150) searches for PSF corresponding to the human error mode from a second database.
