PURPOSE: A polymer-based high performance tile adhesive is provided to improve open time, slip resistance, adhesive strength, and work efficiency and to prevent tile lifting and separation after open time. CONSTITUTION: A polymer-based high performance tile adhesive comprises 30~40 weight% of white Portland cement, 15~30 weight% of 60~100 mesh silica, 30~45 weight% of 100~200 mesh silica, 0.3~1.5 weight% of hydroxy propyl methyl cellulose, 1~5 weight% of light weight aggregate, 1~5 weight% of wollastonite, 0.05~1 weight% of sodium tripolyphosphate, and 2~8 weight% of VA-E(vinyl acetate, ethylene) binary copolymer re-dispersible powdered resin in which an apparent specific gravity is 400~600 g/L, solid content is 98~100 weight%, pH value in 10% dissolution in water is 6.0~8.0, and glass transition temperature is 0~20 C.
