TURRET MOORING SYSTEM FOR MODEL TESTING OF FLOATING OFFSHORE STRUCTURES

PURPOSE: A model testing apparatus for a floating offshore structure is provided to simply prevent the penetration of water into a vessel model using a waterproof film. CONSTITUTION: A loading part(10) is formed into a box shape structure, and both ends of the loading part are combined with the floor of a vessel model. The height of the loading part is adjusted. 6-axis load cell(20) is mounted at the internal ceiling of the loading part. A turret rotary axis(30) is combined with the lower side of the 6-axis load cell while rotation. A plurality of 1-axis load cell(40) is in connection with the lower end part of the turret rotary axis.
