HIV-1 latent cell lines, methods for their preparation and diagnostic methods for latent HIV infection

PURPOSE: A latent HIV infectious cell line and a method for diagnosing HIV infection are provided to stably maintain chronic infection state and research on latency and reactivation of HIV provirus. CONSTITUTION: A latent HIV-infectious cell line NCHA-1(deposit number: KCLRF-BP-00183) contains HIV fusion gene at p12 of chromosome 1 and p11.4 of chromosome X in human T-lymphocyte A3.01 cell line. The HIV gene is pNL4-3 virus gene. A method for preparing the latent HIV infectious cell line comprises: a step of infecting HIV to human T-lymphocyte A3.01 cell line to fuse gene of HIV to p12 of chromosome 1 and p11.4 of chromosome X; and a step of screening latent HIV infectious cell line through cloning.
