PURPOSE: A paper money paying-in and paying-out device of an automatic teller machine is provided to improve the reliability of deposit and withdrawal task by preventing the flow of a front plate and secession of the paper money in the process of receiving the paper money. CONSTITUTION: A front plate(210) forms a bill accession space accepting the paper money putting into from a cateress unit shutter. A push plate(220) pressurizes the paper money putting into the bill accession space. A pair of first fix boards(250) is formed in both sides of the front plate and push plate. A guide(252) used as the movement route of the front plate is formed in the fixing plate. A bracket is connected to the lower part of the front plate through hinge. Fixture pieces(213, 214) interlink bracket and front plate to the first fix board. A driving means transfers bracket and front plate. A separate unit comprises a pick-up roller, a feeder roller, and a guide roller. A pair of second fixing plates supports the pick-up roller. A position control means controls the location of the second fixing plate.
