SOFT-DECISION DETECTING METHOD WHICH MINIMIZES COMPLEXITY USING A SIMPLE LINEAR DETECTION AND A DECIPHERING METHOD USING THE SAME

PURPOSE: A soft-decision detecting method and a deciphering method using the same are provided to improve big complexity compare with an MLD(Maximum Likelihood Detection) mode by elementarily applying a linear detection.;CONSTITUTION: An STBC(Space-time Block Coding) deciphering unit estimates a transmission symbol by deciphering a received symbol(S310). A soft-decision detection unit produces in-between soft decision values about bits comprising the presumed transmission symbol by each bitwise(S320). The soft-decision detection unit produces final soft decision values by multiplying the in-between soft decision values by a specific gain(S330). A repetition deciphering unit restores a source binary signal by repetitively deciphering using vector heat(S340).;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2011
