PURPOSE: A layered metal double dehydrate, a manufacturing method thereof, and a slowly available fertilizer are provided to improve a slow releasing property and a soil acidification preventing effect. CONSTITUTION: A layered metal double dihydrate is represented as a chemical formula, M^II_(1-x) M^III_x(OH)2A^n-_x/n zH2O. A metal double dihydrate of a layer structure, M^II_(1-x)M^III_x(OH)2, has a three dimensional structure which has an average 1~10nm ranged mesopore. In the air gap, anion(A_a-) is inserted. In the chemical formula. M^II is a metal cation of the +2 edge. M^III is a metal cation of the +3 edge. A_a- is at least one kind which is selected from a group composing of (OH^-), (NO3^-), PO4^3-, HPO4^2-, and H2PO4^-.
