The fuel property determination system of the present invention determines whether the fuel supplied to the work machine is a regular fuel and analyzes the determination result to perform an appropriate control operation. The fuel supplied from the oil supply nozzle flows into the fuel tank through the fuel receiver. When the fuel property detection means reaches a predetermined measurement timing (at refueling time), the fuel property detection means measures the property of the fueled fuel. The measurement data generating means generates the measurement data based on the measurement result, fuel residual amount and environmental temperature.
