The invention relates to electrothermal equipment to improve the design electric heater mix of nitrogen and oxygen, containing up to 1.5% by volume. oxygen, for a three-jet continuous-flow chemical and metallurgical reactor. Construction electric heater comprises a water-cooled copper cathode rod with a tungsten insert, swirl-insulator for shielding the input and the working gas and water-cooled copper anode. Tungsten core insert is pressed into the cathode flush with its surface, and the swirl-insulator serves to simultaneously input a nitrogen-oxygen mixture (process gas) and methane (shielding gas) to bind oxygen in carbon monoxide. The technical result - the reduction of the specific erosion of the electrodes and increasing their lifetime to industrially acceptable levels; management and execution of the cathode insulator swirler for working and protective gas; possibility of installing electric heater within the chamber continuous-flow reactor three-jet mixing without changing its geometric and thermal characteristics. 1 Table 1.
