FIELD: agriculture.;SUBSTANCE: circular sample area is marked, where trees are counted, trunks of which are in the circular sample area. The centre of the circular sample area is the mother tree of the main race or the circle of its growth location. Radius of the circular sample area is increased depending on height of the central mother tree. Then circular sample sites are marked from the centre, being arranged concentrically at identical distance from the centre with the mother tree along the width of the circles.;EFFECT: method will make it possible to increase accuracy of measurements in selection and laying of the circular sample area.;3 cl, 5 dwg
