The assembly has a drive motor (2) arranged in a housing (1), and a rotation bearing (8) associated with a drive shaft (3). The rotation bearing (8) is supported on the housing. An accommodating retainer (10) is provided for accommodating the rotation bearing, and supports the rotation bearing over the accommodating retainer on the housing. The rotation bearing includes an inner bearing ring (11), bearing outer ring (12) and an intermediate rolling element (13) which adjusts the accommodating retainer of the bearing outer ring. Commutator brushes are connected with a commutator. An independent claim is also included for a method for assembling of a drive assembly for a motor vehicle.
