The assembly (100) has a drive motor (104) fixed laterally at a transmission housing (102), and a radial supporting finger (108) arranged at the housing, where the assembly is turnable together with the supporting finger in a mounting device (106) of a door module. The device is placed in a motor vehicle door. An opening (116) accommodates a fastener (124) for fixing the assembly at the mounting device, and lies in common centroid of the housing and the drive motor. The supporting finger is screwed into a holder in the mounting device. An independent claim is also included for a method for mounting a drive assembly.
