The device comprises a pin (4) that is fastened to the rail transverse to a cutting direction. The pin is firmly screwed in the rail, and a set of holes (3) is formed one behind the other in a longitudinal direction in the rail for adjusting the pin. An extraction mechanism is provided for extracting saw dusts and comprises a collection container for collecting the saw dusts.
