The seal (10) is circularly formed and has a sealing element (11) formed in a cross section in L-shape. The sealing element has two flexible sealing shanks (13,14) arranged to each other. The sealing shanks run over each other in not inserted condition of the seal under a sealing angle. Another sealing element (12) is made of ethylene-propylene-diene monomer elastomer, hydrogenated nitrile butadiene rubber elastomer, fluoroelastomers, butyl rubber or polymer, particularly fluorine polymer. An independent claim is also included for a sealing arrangement.
